I purchased a dress shirt from the Bon-Ton Web site. There was a free shipping promotion going on at the time.

I received a $10.95 credit for free shipping. Great! I decided that I better request the 2 day delivery so that there is enough time to take the shirt to the dry cleaners before my event. 2-day, not part of the promotion, understandable.

The 2 day delivery is $24.99 gulp. That price didn't show up until the charge went through, sort of scandalous on the part of Bon-Ton. Turns out I'm not getting the delivery in 2 days. It's gonna take a week.

I'm thinking no way I'm paying $24.99, I call Bon-Ton customer service. Customer Service said no problem, they're refunding me the $24.99 fee. Then I get a new email listing the new charges. They take away the $10.95 free shipping promotion and then on top of that charge me $14.00 to ship this shirt.

If you are adding everything up...I get the same bill!!!

Only thing is I don't get the shirt on time. They didn't even ship it until the day that I was supposed to receive it!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $25.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
